Blob Lite

Recently, a lot of people have asked me, if they can download Blob and play it on their home computer. The main purpose of Blob is to employ gaze-based game interaction and to provide a simple stimulus game for the logging of psychophysiological data. Therefore, the original Blob requires a lot specialized hardware and - what is more important - a number of additional libraries to communicate with that hardware.

So in order to allow people outside of our lab to play the game, i took out all the logging and gaze-based interaction and present to you: Blob Lite! You can download the installer below.

The gameplay is the same as in Blob, the only difference is that there is only mouse interaction and the highscore list is only stored on your local machine. I also added a game launcher, where you can set screen resolution, fullscreen mode, sound, etc…
