Blob is a simple game, i am currently working on as part of my master’s thesis. It is programmed in C#, using the XNA framework.
Collect as many “blobs” as possible. The bigger the blobs are, the more points you get for collecting them. The more blobs of the same color you collect in a row, the higher your score multiplier gets. If two blobs collide, the game is over.
The high scores are stored in a MySQL database and updated, if you are connected to the internet…

This game looks funny, lah!
Great idea and work, is there any chance to play it in the near future..meeans you plan to publish it somehow?
As soon as i’ve got my diploma and some spare time, i will release a “light” version, without all the logging (and dll dependencies that come with that)
actually you can play it today: http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/play/76276/
well, you can play the game that inspired me to make blob. However, there are some (small) differences in gameplay, scoring, and the way the blobs are spawned and handled. And of course, blobb has awesome gaze-control!
But yes, you are right. I keep forgetting the URL, so i didn’t link it. Thanks for doing my work
