Southfury Banks v0.4

Before i move to Sweden, I wanted to release v0.4 of Southfury Banks. All classes have been overworked and got new abilities. Especially the Earth classes should be more interesting now!

New Features:

  • Added Horde counterparts to Alliance units. Instead of Cleric and Paladin, the Horde has the classes Shaman and Far Seer, with have thier own unique abilities (comparable to the Cleric and Paladin) - Lesser Heal, Frostshock and Mana Spring Totem.
  • Added Wind classes:
    • Scout / Axe Thrower
    • Archer / Headhunter
    • Huntress of the Moon / Shadow Hunter
  • Added Rage to Earth classes - Each melee combat Earth class now uses rage to power thier abilities. Rage is built up while doing or taking damage in combat. It slowly decreases when out of combat. Rage is indicated by the unit’s mana bar. Of course normal mana regeneration buffs will NOT generate rage.

Fixes/Changes:

  • Added a new ability to Peasants and Peons. Run increases thier movement speed by 50% for a short time.
  • Fixed the Butcher message and effect.
  • Fixed movement speed of all units. Peasants and Peons movement speed has been decreased, every other unit’s speed has been increased.
  • Reduced the mana regeneration bonus of Signet of Wisdom and Mana Spring Totems.
  • Increased basic mana regeneration rate of all Light units (but not the Light/Earth hybrid classes).
  • Fixed all possible memory leaks.
  • Tomes are now also sold by the Arcanist / Witch Doctor in each factions main base.
  • Added cooldown information to every ability.

For the next release, I’m planning to add the last hybrid classes: Rogues for Earth/Wind and Druids for Light/Wind. I also finally want to include more creeps, faction patrols and finally give the bosses some “AI” behavior to make the fights more interesting and challenging.
